Energy management and verification during building operation

Abstract:

Reduced energy use in buildings constitutes and important measure for climate change mitigation. Buildings may be designed to be very energy efficient. However, the predicted/calculated/designed energy performance may deviate from measured the energy performance if the energy management is not fulfilling.

Skanska Sverige AB has experiences from projects where the energy management has been poor but also where an active energy management has resulted into a measured energy performance; better than expected.

Skanska Sverige AB will present experiences from energy management and verification in buildings and discuss pros and cons from a contractor perspective.
